Established in 1743 Riverside Farm is located along the banks of the Great Works River on the outskirts of the town of South Berwick and has been in Farmer Dave's family since 1743. We have the original deed, survey map dated 1752 and in 1976 was officially recognized by the U.S. Government as a Bicentennial Farm. Riverside Farm is also a Maine Certified Tree Farm. Over the last 50 years, the area has seen a steep decline in farms but because of strong community support Riverside Farm has remained a thriving, full time active farm. The people of South Berwick and the town government, for many generations before and to this day, have been extremely friendly and supportive in helping maintain the viability of our family farm. We want to express our Thanks and Appreciation for this support. We are truly blessed by the citizens of South Berwick and the surrounding communities.
