My son had a basketball accident and with much reservations I allowed the ambulance to take us to Palisades Medical Center. They accessed his injury in the ER immediately, had the surgeon there within the hour and we were in and out of surgery within 4 hours of arriving at the hospital. Because my son is only 13 we stayed in the pediatric department and the care and attention he received was second to none. Although still recovering he is doing better but it nice to get follow up phone calls from everyone down to the intern that was working that night. I want to Thank (and I know I'm going to forget a few names)
In pediatrics Angelica, Brenda, Veronica, Wilma and Faye. In the Emergency Room, I can't remember any names because I was a mess but Intern Brescia kept talking to me and walking out with me when all I wanted to do was be sick. the male ER doctor with the blond spikey hair and our main nurse who I am embarrassed I can't remember her name because she was phenomenal. Thank you to the quick response form the OR team that made it back into work just to take care of my boy. I can't thank everyone enough for what they did for my son. I don't want to forget my awesome surgeon Dr. Pfisterer, my Angel, Fifi who came to visit once we were settled and of course Mr Joseph Burt who not only recommended we go to Palisades Medical Center stayed with us to make sure we got the best service, I don't have enough to Thank all of you for what you did.
