Don Evans opened Don Evans Window Tint in 1982 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Word of outstanding service quickly spread throughout the area and hence two more window tint shops opened; one in Stillwater, Oklahoma and the other in Norman, Oklahoma. Keeping the business family owned and operated, two of Don’s sons operate the Stillwater and Norman stores.

Not only am I impressed with the tint job, Mr. Evans is a very professional and well rounded individual that not only appreciates all of his customers, but also shows his passion for customer service in the work he does.

I personally have had over 5 vehicles done all the way around from Don, and he did very well on all of them.

Oh and he also recognizes his guarantee on the tint. Out of my own stupidity, I accidently scratched some of the tint off with my seat belt and he completely redid the job, free of cost.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I will continue to send business his way, gladly.

I wanted to share my first and only Experience with Don Evan's Window Tint in Norman Oklahoma.

Tint on a car with dot matrix is hard. Go to google images. Most of the time it comes out bad.

I started my search to find someone competent enough to do my car right.

I called Don Evans and quizzed them over the phone. "No problem they said. We don't need the vinyl we can't tint right over the dots"

We agreed on a date and time. I arrived, picked my tint, and confirmed they could apply tint to my car without issues.

I pick the car up and am told its just moisture and will dry in a few days. Should have been my first clue.

A few days pass and it looks terrible. After inspecting more I'm finding glue from the tint crammed into the weather stripping around the hatch. The cleaner has stained all the black plastic it came in contact with. There is a visible seam on the rear hatch along with other bubbles not even in the dot matrix. The front glass has several small bubbles with dust stuck under them. The exterior of the car had greasy hand prints from one end to the other.

Don offers to fix it but can't guarantee 100% coverage "like I told you before it is only 90% on the dots." There was never any mention of not being fully capable of a clean job. I asked twice before leaving them the car. Now I'm being called a liar too. My expectations were far higher.

They offered to redo the rear without any glue. So instead of random white spots you get one big banner of white across the top. Not acceptable.

I asked for a refund on just the hatch portion and he said "Not happening" - So I am sharing my experience.

A lifetime warranty on a product means nothing when the installation is poor every time.

If there are any competent tint installers that will stand behind your work please get in touch with me. I want this crap fixed asap.
