I am not one to write reviews but I wanted to in this case because I LOVE this shop and want it to be known. I recently purchased my dress for my daughters wedding from Boutique Unique and I could not be happier. I had been looking everywhere and was becoming quite depressed; I could not find anything I liked or felt good in, especially considering some figure flaws I wanted to mask. I found the perfect dress! This shop has lots and lots of choices, with most the dresses being available in different colors and lengths. What made the entire experience so special was the sales girl, Tanya. She was so, SO nice and helpful and knowledgeable of the different designers and what style of dress looks good on your individual body shape; and honest about what looked good and what didn't My dress should be coming in soon and I will definitely need some alterations. I will come back and write another review after that, but am feeling positive.

We found a beautiful lace jacket for my mom to wear to my son's wedding. No alterations were done, tags still on, still in sales bag, less than a month after the purchase she ended up in a nursing and very ill, she was not going to be able to attend the wedding. The owner of the the store refused a refund to her credit card. When I explained she was dying, and the money could be better used for her expenses he stated it was not his problem and he really did not care about the situation. he has his policies!!

I purchased some clothing there and found it to be a wonderful experience. Very helpful sales people and their selection was very good. I highly recommend it!

This store has the best selection of Special Occasion dresses in Chicago. The sales people know what they are doing, the seamstress is excellent. I am happy I found this store

My daughter and I searched all over the Chicagoland area and many surrounding suburbs for a Mother of the Bride dress. Our hunt was unsuccessful until a friend, who also works at Nordstrom, recommended that I visit Boutique Unique. This is a fabulous store with many beautiful gowns! The sales staff was exceptionally helpful. I was able to find an exquisite dress for my daughter's wedding. The sales associate also recommended that I visit their shoe store, The Golden Shoe. I found a great pair of shoes while shopping that enhanced my dress beautifully. They also have a seamstress on staff that was able to hem and alter my dress right in their store. I was able to pick up my dress 3 days later. It was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone!

I could not believe the selection of Mother of the Bride and plus size women's clothing. They also have a shoe store that carries beautiful women's and mens shoes. My girlfriend and I went to purchase a MOB dress. After seraching the other major stores none of them carried half the selection that Boutique Unique offers. The service was excellent! I purchased my MOB dress and I will be returning there for my sportswear and accesories. I recommend this store highly. You won't find another like it!

Don't waste the stress. This was the most terrible experience i have ever gotten at a bridal store. all the woman are so rude. They are not helpful or friendly. when you need help with something like a dress for a wedding or special occasion you need help. my mom and i were on our own. We had to find it ourselves, size it ourselves, and pick it ourselves. Service is very important, and this bridal store doesn't have any good service. Save your time and money. go somewhere else.

I have never been to a place with such terrible service. They have a terrible attitude no matter who you are or what you are looking for. The seamstress is who helped my mom with her dress, but the rude employee is who got credit for it. she didn't do anything. Then she yelled at me saying that i was holding it the wrong way and she yanked a dress from my hands. it was terrible!

The sales lady at this shop was both rude and insulting and not the least bit helpful. My friend and I had heard a few successful mother of the bride purchases and had ventured from the far Northwest suburbs to this store in Niles. When we arrived the sales lady asked what we were looking for and told us to go ahead and look around. Mind you we are both successful career women with full time jobs and did not look shabbily dressed. For whatever reason this sales lady treated us as if we were inferior to her store. As we looked at dresses she told my girlfriend to be careful with the dresses than when we were each holding several dresses she came over and said "She has enough to try on" and took us to a dressing room. As I was trying on the second dress she came up and said very loudly "That's too tight take it off your going to ruin the dress". At that point I stopped trying on anything, got dressed and left. As many nice selections as there were I would not spend a dime of mone
