Because of a family situation, we had a time constraint to replace our carpet in our 4 bedrooms. It was an intense search for the right carpet & where to make the purchase. Trying to decide on which carpet (Smartstrand or Stainmaster) & stopping in many flooring stores, we struggled to find the right flooring store. We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped into Holland Flooring in Newtown. Tom helped us decide on the right carpet for us by listening to our needs along with his knowledge & experience. We placed our order January 9 & needed it installed by January 25. It was cutting it close. With the amazing help of Mike in scheduling & hard working installers, we made the deadline. I can't say enough good things about the service & personal concern Holland Flooring gives their customers. We highly recommend Holland Flooring for all your flooring needs! We couldn't be happier 🙂

Sent 5 Brazilian installers who could not speak English and the project manager not on site. I was unable to ask questions while floor being installed. Large amt. installed with many installation mistakes. The Indus Parquet Wood was largely defective. This was removed then a Mullican floor installed and the planks of wood were out of spec and the floor planks were at various heights. This was removed. So far Holland is standing behind their products and is doing what they can to help us. I'm totally confused as to what to buy now. The wood we had chosen in both cases was not cheap. Still no answer as to what was wrong with the Indus Parquet wood. Inspector came out. Everytime I ask no one has an answer.

Overpriced (wood cost per sq ft was several dollars above market prices).



Sent two Hispanic installers who did not speak much English without a project manager or anybody I spoke to, out to a 3500 sq ft install.

(I have nothing against Hispanic people)



Avoid this company like the plague

Couldn't be happier. The sales team was terrific, the selection was great, but what really set them apart was the installers. They treated the job like it was going in their own homes. Left the place immaculate every day, answered all my questions and really helped me with a few decisions I was iffy on. I can't say enough how pleased I am with the results!

Tom over at Holland Floor is a Saint! He found a way to make both the wife and husband happy! Truly a talented craftsman!
