We recently relocated to the Newport area and needed a washer, dryer and air conditioning for our residence. I asked advice from local people regarding making my purchases from the big box stores in the Harrisburg area or checking products and prices from a local supplier. Most commented to check with H.M. Flickinger & Sons, so I compared making my purchases from the big box boys to seeing what Flickinger had to offer. We found the personnel at Flickinger very knowledgeable and able to recommended the best products/models which would satisfy our needs. They seemed more interested in providing the correct appliances to insure long-term satisfaction. No bull - just straight facts about the operation & quality of their products and the services they provide. Additionally, their prices were very fair and competitive with competition when comparing the big box store's base costs and the "extra" charges. We received same day or next day delivery from Flickinger which also included complete setup and testing.We are definitely satisfied with Flickinger and can highly recommend them to faithfully fulfill the needs of any consumer. If service is ever needed, they are just down the street as compared to the big box stores or their contracted unknown repairman. When we need additional products, we will go back to Flickingers.
