This company is proving to be worth every one star rating they are getting. Stay away if you want prompt courteous service. After nearly one month, two phone calls to AHS, and 2-3 to AP Plumbing to have a shower faucet repaired, they still haven't been able to make the repair. A few weeks ago, I contacted AHS to have my shower faucet repaired and left a phone number for my tenants to be contacted. Initially, AP plumbing didn't call for about 10 days because according to them, they weren't notified by AHS. I contacted AHS, who in turn told me they notified AP plumbing 10 days earlier. Strike 1.

Next, my tenants set up an appointment for after work one day at 4pm, and the company showed up before the scheduled time. The repairman called me from the house asking where I was at. Obviously confused since the time was set up with my tenants, I called my tenants who relayed they set the appointment up for later in the day after work. Unfortunately, since AP Plumbing showed up too early, they left and cancelled the work order with AHS due to a missed appointment. This caused AHS to charge a missed appointment fee to me. A blatant lie. Strike 2.

Now nearly 10 days later, my tenants called to let me know they hadn't heard back from AP Plumbing, prompting another call from me asking why. I called AP Plumbing today (May 5th) and they reason they said they didn't show up again. They claim they set the appointment between 12p-4p, not the times my tenant would have even been home because they were working. AP Plumbing didn't notify me or my tenants and decided to cover up their scheduling error with a lie about scheduling times, so that a new work order would need to be submitted. It makes sense since they get paid for no-shows and it's so easy to show up early, charge a no show, and go about their shady business (recall the lie about scheduling from above).

To exacerbate the issue, the woman answer the phone was rude, and actually said at one time during our conversation, when I asked a question, that she wasn't in the truck with the repair man. Duh, you [expletive]. Of course you're not in the truck. I about lost it with her at that time and couldn't believe any company would hire a person that would belittle and demean customers. Fire her.

Hampton Roads residents, stay away from AP Plumbing if you want service. Go elsewhere at all costs. I wish I could give a zero-star rating

DO NOT USE COMPANY!!! As others have stated AP Plumbing LLC is used by home warranty companies so we get stuck using them. Their customer service is by far the worse I have ever had to be a part of. They don not return calls or respond to emails once they have decieded work is complete. They also like to charge extra for things that they don't even do (I have pictures to prove it)., and LIE about work that needs to be done. When i called and spoke to the owner to try to get this resolved he hung up on me. Also if they say they are pulling a permit call the city to make sure they really do...because in my case they never did but they charge you for it. Also show up with proper equipment so they had to reschedule the appointment which my tenant already took off work for. A very unprofessional company, I can't understand how they even are in bussiness, but I guess thats why these warranty companies use people like this because they are cheap and have no other work.
