Elvin and Helen Hurst had a vision to create expert-crafted cabinetry. As a result, Kountry Kraft was founded in April of 1959. As the company grew, two of their four children became immersed in the family business. In February 2003, Elvin Hurst Jr. and Dolores Hurst-Funk purchased the company from their parents. The company s office and manufacturing facility remain on the Hurst family farm, located in the Pennsylvania Dutch country of Lebanon County. Kounty Kraft offers custom cabinetry for the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and pantry as well as for general organizational use. Computerized panel saws, dovetailing machines, pneumatic assembly systems and the latest in finishing equipment fill the company s 96,000-square-foot facility. Kountry Kraft is staffed with more than 125 employees.
