I visited this hell hole for my depression issues. And it is exactly what I said a hell hole. Although Dr. Lane was a very nice guy and very helpful he is the only positive thing I can say about the place. It felt like a prison! The beds are hard and very uncomfortable the rooms are dark and scary. If I am depressed why the hell would you put in a place that is even more depressing? They didn't give me any of my current meds I was on so I went through major withdraws. Some of those people in there honestly frightened me. The staff (especially the females) were rude and very unsympathetic to any patient that was going through a difficult time. I couldn't have much contact with my loved ones because you phone time was so limited and they had one t.v. for everyone to share. It was very uncomfortable and honestly traumatizing. I advise if you can prevent it, do not look for help there. If I could give this place no stars I would!!!!

Although I have been sober for several years after being a patient here, I do not credit it with much of my recovery. There is little empathy for people with co-morbid issues (ie: depression and substance abuse). The staff psychiatrist never visited with this patient. Most of the time is spent with assistants who essentially babysit the patients. Lots of drama while I was there, very distracting. Emotionally exhausting. I remember being there with a chill.
