Don't do business with The Energy Cooperative if you can avoid it. I just had them double an order I placed for propane, and tell me how good of a deal it is to just pay for their mistake. I scheduled a pickup for my tank and will be finding a better energy provider.

For an energy company that was created to provide service to rural areas they are really terrible at it. After arriving home after work to find that my propane tank was removed I called them, wasn't able to get anyone until the following morning because they were of course closed, and I was told that they weren't willing to replace the tank because it is too difficult to get to. The tank was right off of the driveway! It obviously wasn't too difficult to get to and take it away. They couldn't even bother to offer other options. I would have been willing to move the tank if need be rather than have it taken away. This is an awful company. I called AmeriGas and they were completely willing to work with me and will soon be installing a tank. Choose any other company if you can!

Poor service, higher rates....inconsistent billing practices, meter readings. Wish I could switch but you can't! captive audience....
