EmailTerra Blues is a modern-day blues saloon on the second floor overlooking Bleecker Street in the heart of Greenwich Village. For twenty-one years its arched ceiling has carried the sound of some of the best blues guitar players and singers from New York and around the country.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Acoustic acts begin nightly from 7:00 to 9:30pm. These
shows are the intimate portion of the evening, and usually consist of a solo
performer showcasing guitar & vocals. Every evening, from Sunday through Thursday, Terra Blues hosts a full, electric band from 10:00 PM until 2:00 AM. Fridays and Saturdays keep the music going until 3:00 AM. It's a real down-home, down-south atmosphere, where all the hot locals strut their stuff.

Provided by SuperpagesFantastic place simply because of the music! I stopped in with a friend the other week, and it gets so crowded in there - people flock to hear such good music and it's nice to see that kind of success! It is a mellow intimate vibe otherwise and the seated area in front of the stage is cramped but that contributes to the "intimate" nature of the place. Think candlelight all around, which makes it a good romantic date place. Drinks are pretty standard and they come around to the tables to take orders pretty consistently too.
