Forget CVS and Duane Reade - This is a great pharmacy! The earlier negative reviews refer to an older pharmacist who is no longer there (I know, I had trouble with him too). The new owner/pharmacist, Kenny, is wonderful. Prescriptions are usually filled within minutes. If you call, there is no wait or annoying auto-menu to get through to speak with a pharmacist. They will promptly call your doctor for refills and will assist you with "vacation" length refills. They also deliver. The price for medications are the same, and in the case of one of medications, cheaper, than CVS.

The rest of the staff is courteous, helpful and informed. The store is well-stocked with other items such as over-the-counter medications, toiletries, vitamins, etc. (including greeting cards and reading glasses). Again, the prices compare to the those of the chain stores.

If they don't have what you want, they will order it and call you when it comes in, usually the next day.

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years. Many of the local businesses are closing as more people chose to shop at the chain stores. We need to support our local businesses that still provide personalize services with a real human touch.

This place is a neighborhood gem and a refreshing change from the chain stores that have overtaken the city. A great pharmacy and a fairly wide variety of merchandise. We live 2 blocks away and find a reason to use the store several times a week.
