2 painters from Painters NYC provided interior painting services. Tim the foreman contacted me within 4 hours and we scheduled an appointment for the next week. The painters showed up on time on the day we scheduled for. They prepare the walls to ensure that they were smooth with plaster, sanding and then paint.

I must say I've had several sets of painters come to my house in recent months - I was most pleased with Painters NYC. They were the cleanest (no drops of fine splatters of paint on my wood floors) and the borders between the wall and baseboard showed clean lines. The paint job looks great.

I would hire them again!

Painted dining room, kitchen, great room, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. All work was completed within one week. The team was incredibly professional and trustworthy. According to the estimate and my requests the guys were able to complete the entire job within a narrow window of time. The crew showed up on time, started right away and finished in the time frame. When the job was complete they cleaned everything up. I could say I found them to be communicative and responsive throughout the process, with quick exchanges on paint selection in particular. The actual paint job itself was excellent making it look like we have brand new walls in our house. All went just as it was explained to me so I am very pleased with the results. Definitely would hire them again.

We had a great experience with their crew. They painted the interior of most of our apartment (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms), had them repaint doors, windows and everything else. Their work was well done and thorough, and they had no problem adapting when I threw last minute requests at them. For example, while they were there, I asked them to remove the brass frame around my fireplace, which they did at no cost. I also asked if they could tighten the bannister on our stairs and rebuild our back steps. They did both for very reasonable costs. The only critique that I'd had of working with them was that they didn't provide an itemized breakdown of the costs in an invoice. However, when I typed it up and asked them to confirm, they did so, so at least I have some record of the work they did. I would probably use them again on future projects, though. They're very hard workers and eager to do any projects I threw at them.

I probably could have found someone to do this more cheaply (like maybe a one- or two-person company), but there's something to be said for peace of mind and quality. I found them on YP and so I expected them to be good). In the end, all rooms, including the one with the wallpaper, looked beautiful. In the room with the wallpaper, no one would ever guess that the wallpaper is still there. Everything was done very neatly and cleanly. All staff were courteous and professional. They also got the job done fast. We'd likely use them again.

Tim was very attentive and knowledgeable on the phone. He answered all my questions, helped with a color matching issue that I had and advised me on the proper paint to use for each surface. Overall very pleased with Painters NYC `s service. The team that came to my house presented themselves prompt, were clean and well dressed. My only concern was they were a bit rushed on the last day and didn't put everything back correctly, i.e. a shelving unit. Though this was a very minor concern and something they addressed after we informed them. I would hire these guys again and plan to do so to paint my kitchen.

I highly recommend Painters NYC!!!! It`s the third painting company to work on my house and I will definitely work with Tim and his crew again. They did our master bedroom (remove wallpaper of the walls, clean up the surface, skim coat walls to smooth, repair cracks, nail pops on ceiling and walls, prime walls), master closet and dining room. I made the mistake of not buying enough paint, so Tim also strategized where to paint first in case the job could not be completed on the first visit. After I brought more paint, the painters finished the job earlier than I expected. I must say I could not be more pleased when they painted the stair risers as well- just because they were working in those areas already and thought the juxtaposition of the newly painted and not painted didn't look so great. Overall, the job was done very well and I would use them again.
