I loved Once Upon a Tart in the old days. Since new management took over it has fallen in my view. The staff seems to be bothered by your presence. The pastries are still fine. There are too many changes and not for the good. Disappointing.

Once Upon a Tart - love the name! On weekends when invited to brunch at a friend's I contribute the delicious scones and other goodies from here. The ladies who work here are cheerful and make it a pleasure to shop or eat here.

Pretty much your run-of-the-mill cafe in the SoHo. Muffins, pre-made sandwiches, expensive iced tea. Somtimes overrun with families (read: babies) from the nearby West Village, but what can beat sitting outside on picturesque Sullivan Street?
