Hands down I had a great experience with NY Movers 10025 . I was able to schedule a Saturday move with less than 1 week's notice, and even piggy back off of another friend moving on the same day from BK to Manhattan to save everyone time.

Price/Quotes: They offered me flat rate which I strongly preferred. Their price comparable to other companies that only offered hourly rates (based up on expected moving time) and very reasonable, but instead of a 3-man crew I got 4 men! 4 moving ninjas. I found the online quote form great to really help you understand how much stuff you REALLY have.

I moved from a 3rd floor walk up to a 5th floor walk up. Mover's nightmare, but these moving ninjas took it in stride and were great.

They came 1.5 hours early! Luckily I was ready to get moving, but if I wasn't they seemed like it would have been no big deal to wait until my official starting time. My entire 1 bedroom apartment was loaded up and in the truck in just over an hour. How the hell did they do that? I spent hours of the last week just packing!

They wrapped up my furniture and were careful with all my belongings. Not at any point did I feel uncomfortable with how they were treating my stuff. Upon move-in, they tackled 4 flights of stairs with a great attitude and were still able to crack some jokes. Even though I offered food, etc., they only accepted some water and Gatorade throughout the day.

I'd highly recommend NY Movers 10025 for anyone moving. Screw paying friends with pizza and beer - it's so worth the cost, and instead of taking a long day to move, it's done in an afternoon. We sincerely want to thanks this incredible Moving company - Thank you very much New York Movers 10025 .

My move from Queens to Brooklyn They were recommended to me. Everything was pretty well done, professional and friendly. They were late about an hour to start my job, but I was informed that it might happened because my job was their second job for that day. That's the only thing, which is not a big deal anyway.

We have used pods in the past and this time shopped around for price.New York Best Movers was priced lower and they could deliver the next day - others couldn't. I was so surprised when the unit arrived. It was so clean inside and more like a moving truck inside than a box like we had with pods. With the racking system they have, we were able to secure an odd shaped antique spinning wheel perfectly. Also, they didn't leave it sitting in the parking lot, it went to their warehouse the day after we finished loading. Customer service was great and everything was in perfect condition when we had it re-delivered to our condo. So much easier to load than a Uhaul. We'll definitely use New York Best Movers again.

I recently sold my house and had to move a 4 bedroom home into a 2 bedroom condo until my new home is ready. For the past few years I moved 5 different apartments. Moving was always a hard process that use to be a difficult expensive experience. New York Movers - Moving Company different approach was felt immediately; I was given decent rates and a reasonable estimate of time, despite my poor experience in the past; I felt that this time I was given all the information, so there was no room for extra bizarre charges at the end of the move.

The move itself was preformed smoothly with a qualified professional fast crew that explained and reported me through out the move about each and every step they make. As every customer I started the day stressed thinking of my super at the building the owner breathing down my neck I was a nervous and not friendly guy , then came the NY Movers 10025 guys the foreman was very understanding and he calmed me down after half an hour I was confident enough to go get some coffee , by the time I got back everything was ready to go.

In 19 years, we've made 10 corporate moves with so-called 'top best movers' relocation experts. While those moves were certainly far less physically stressful, all but two were disasters. But even the moves that went well (by comparison) did not go as smoothly as our New York City Movers, Movers from New York, NY. Their customer service is without peer. They are courteous, accommodating, humorous, and (believe it or not) they keep their promises! At the last minute we had to delay our move by one week (at the height of the moving season - July). No problem. They confirmed our new move date via email (with an amended contract attached) within one hour. When I expressed concern about having a truck parked in front of our house overnight in an area where commercial vehicles are banned except for deliveries, they gave us great advice (which we followed) for getting a permit from the local police precinct. (This is important to check if you live in an area where commercial traffic is not allowed.) When we arrived in Florida, we called the local terminal and they were able to confirm the delivery date we had requested, including ramps. The driver arrived exactly on time, all the paperwork was in order, and the final charges were exactly what were estimated. What a concept! When the movers were finished unloading, the local terminal called us & advise us to check the truck – it was empty – all our belongings was into the house – nothing is missing or broken,

When my husband and I planned our move from LA to New York City, I quickly became overwhelmed by the details involved, not to mention all the moving companies and options available. We chose New York Movers based on price – Reliable & Professional Services.



When I tried to make the reservation online, a message came up that said they couldn't do the move. After calling and talking to the New York Movers in LA, our move was reserved and our plan set. The confirmation was sent on email and very easy to decipher, nothing weird or unusual. They estimated the need for 16 feet Truck, but were allowed to pack less, but we would be required to pay for at least seven feet. Two days before the move, I called to confirm. The New York Movers in LA said they would come anytime after 8 am to pick up our belongings.

They arrived at 8:45 on our moving day with a bigger truck and it couldn't have been easier. Everything was simple and smooth.



They packed our stuff up and covered it with tarps and then installed the bulkhead. We didn't use anything to secure the load other than a little tape (which we really didn't think would hold anything; it just made us feel better).



We ended up using 12 feet of space and paid only $1567.00. Our things arrived over the July 4th weekend. Therefore, we weren't able to get our things for several days, but we knew this would be the case.



We called to pick up our things, but the cargo behind it was not off yet, so we had to wait another day.



The next day we went they arrive about 10 Am. Our stuff was in perfect condition. There was some dirt/dust over some of our stuff that we hadn't been able to get under the tarp. We also had wrapped all of our furniture in plastic & moving blankets.



I would suggest buying high quality boxes. We moved a lot of heavy boxes of books. We bought special double walled boxes from Staple. Some of the boxes we had used in a previous move and they still held up. None of these boxes crushed at all. Our other boxes got crushed before they even got out of our apartment. It's definitely worth a little more for high quality boxes.



New York Movers was a great choice for what we needed. We didn't have too much stuff...lots of boxes and IKEA furniture broken down. Also, we weren't going to drive the Uhaul across the country with the truck alone costing $2000, plus gas.



Today, yes my Husband & I are thankful to New York Movers, We are here in Hawaii, { Honeymoon } Enjoying the beautiful weather & I am taking a few minutes of my vacation to thank this Wonderful Company – They made it easy for us – We saved a lot of money { by the way we used part of it to our Honeymoon } .

We moved to Chicago from New York City. I called around trying to find the cheapest & Reliable Moving Company in NYC, already after my husband had done some calling himself and he had decided to use U-haul because it was just cheaper than the rest. He was going to be riding the bus back to NYC to help us move since he was already in Chicago working and probably wouldn't be getting much sleep to drive the Uhaul after the long bus ride (14hrs).

I ended up finding This New York Movers Company by word of mouth from my mom saying that a friend of hers used New York City Movers. I decided to do a search on the internet and found all those positive reviews about this company. I called them to find out more about the pricing. I later called back with more questions regarding other things that I've read in your reviews (Thank you!). New York City Movers was by far the cheapest & Reliable compared to Uhaul including the gas, insurance, etc... And the rest of the companies that I had contacted, Penske, Budget and so forth.

When I called them, here are some questions that I asked and wanted included in or on my truck:

1. Will my truck be cleaned out, no pallets etc on?

**His answer** (Mike}: They almost always clean it out. There might be some dust or a little dirt.

(I had planned on sweeping the inside out and then putting down a tarp on the floor of the truck to protect my furniture or anything else that wasn't packed in a box.)

2. I want a truck that has latches or hooks of some sort to tie off my stuff.

**His answer**: All the new trucks have tie off latches and all of the old trailers have the boards that you can just nail into and tie off, off of that.

(I told him that I would like a newer truck then so I wouldn't have a hassle. He said that would be fine)

3. What kind of gate is the 'bulkhead wall' and is it secure enough to hold not be pushed? Also, Do I need to make sure that I have the lower and upper bulkhead locks?

**His answer: It's a plywood board that is extended from both sides of the truck and load bars kind of like a jack. He said you don't need the bulkhead lock upper and lower anymore. These are newer and easier to use.

(I accepted that. In fact, they are easy to use and work just great. At the end after having the truck loaded, there were some cleaning supplies from cleaning our apartment that I wanted to stick inside the truck. We ended up tying a rope and putting the cleaning supplies inside a kitchen garbage can and attaching the rope to both sides of the garbage can and slowly slid it down on the other side of the bulkhead wall.)

4. How do I lock the bulkhead wall or will I have problems doing it?

**His answer: He said there are very basic directions on the wall itself and if I wanted I could have the driver show us how. **

(I found it very easy to follow and it was not a problem. The driver even checks it when they pick it up to make everything is stable.)

Got to Manhattan when they said they would, every thing was put in its place, and there were no hidden charges at the end, you can't get any better than that. Moving day went smoothly - that statement alone summing up the experience. The personnel were all very courteous, friendly and professional. They showed up when they said they would and completed the move in about the time they estimated despite our having surprised them on moving day with some extra things to pack (because we gave them bad info; not because of their planning). The final cost was still within $100 of the estimate and certainly justified by the extra work with which we surprised them. Overall, it was probably the best move my wife and I have made and we would certainly use them again when we next need to move

Let me first begin by stating that I am not an employee of NYC 10025 Movers so I do not have any secondary gain issues. I don’t know what happened to the disgruntled reviewer but I can confidently say that the NYC 10025 Movers staff were very professional and made a stressful interstate move (from New York to Brooklyn) a seamless, almost enjoyable experience!



Believe it or not - the staff was on time, quick, and responded to my many questions in a professional manner. I had absolutely no problems with my furniture. And as per the price, the owner actually suggested different scenarios to try and give me the fairest deal without compromising quality. I would highly recommend them to anyone. And I will use them again on my next move.

New York best Movers moved me in October 17/07 from New York City to Miami Beach Florida with two men to assist me. At first I was a bit skeptical and felt really unsure about moving with a moving company because this was my first time moving away from home and I have heard so many bad things about movers that I really felt kind of scared that my things would get stolen or whatever the case might be. As they arrived at my location they introduced themselves and we went over exactly what was staying and what was going. I had already packed my things in boxes and even numbered each box so I knew how many there were. I���m not sure if they realized how nervous I was but they were very friendly and comforting and you could tell that they take their job very seriously. Once it was time to move the little furniture I had in my room, they did something I would have never thought of; they wrapped my furniture in blankets before carrying them out into their truck. Let me just say, the trucks were so clean and they were even lined with carpet. When everything was finally on the truck we were off, they followed me to my new apartment. ,

Once we arrived at the apartment they started to unload the furniture first and put it exactly where I wanted it to go. The boxes were then taken off the truck and placed in my new living room. Every box was there and I opened each one in front of them, just to make sure nothing was broken or damaged and sure enough nothing was. I was even more pleased to find out that one of the movers brought me a coupon and said I could use it that same day. Basically, I was very satisfied with what I received which was great customer service, low cost move and not one thing broke. I highly recommend this company to everyone. ,
