The New York Public Library is a privately managed, nonprofit corporation. Operational for more than 100 years, the library has a collection of books and reference materials. It maintains a network of community libraries in the United States. The New York Public Library offers a variety of databases, catalogues and articles. The New York Public Library operates The Branch Libraries and The Research Libraries.
