These reviews are FAKE! Do not use a company called New Amsterdam Van Lines. They are a broker and it took 33 days for my items to arrive from Chicago to Denver, CO. They partialed out my items instead of using a dedicated truck (Jeffs Express in North Carolina who is terrible and don't communicate) and broke over $1000 worth of my items. When I submit a claim they said the moving company THEY booked is at fault. They refuse to handle it so I sued them.

2 months in and they still refuse to do anything. Liars and theives.

The day prior to my move no one called me to give me an estimated time, my move was scheduled for Sat or Sun so when I tried to call the office no one was available to give me any clue on what is going on with my move...Overall this has been an awful experience and I am still waiting to see if my truck will arrive.

Being a military wife and having to move every year or couple of months is hard enough.Finding a moving company you can really trust to get the job done is even more stressful, Booking with New Amsterdam Van Lines and letting them take care of everything for me was the best decision i ever made when it came to relocating. My items were taken care of just like how i would take care of them myself, I am sure that they will be moving us again and i would only move with New Amsterdam Van Lines.

I called and received a call back within the day from New Amsterdam Van Lines, and I scheduled the move for a week later. The movers arrived in the morning, pleasant and friendly, and they quickly and efficiently wrapped up and loaded my big pieces carefully. Customer service is excellent and the move a stress-free.

Hired them for a local move. We did almost all of packing, so they just had to move furniture and boxes. They covered the floor, were gentle with the stairs - basically treated the building like their own. I was amazed watching how careful they were. They also showed up on time.

They never took a break - when the elevator broke they adjusted and took the stairs. No drama - just kept moving! I won't need these guys again anytime soon, but when I do I'll definitely be calling.

I had a terrible experience with another moving company last year, and my experience with New Amsterdam Van Lines really proved that there are real professional movers in New York that know what they are doing.
