Hiring Paul to be my attorney for my businesses has truly been a relief and a blessing. I first met Paul (found through Google Search) in 2019; I was grieving, tired, and stressed. He answered all my questions free of charge which I was very surprised. At the time I had other attorneys. One did absolutely nothing. The others charged what I felt like was the air I was breathing while I was in their presence- calls, emails, the time the attorneys took to speak with each other, you name it and I was charged. I disliked how I was spoken to and I wasn't explained clearly a lot of things which became complicated when I had to make decisions. After firing the attorneys I was very concerned and very upset from that experience. At the beginning of this year, I needed an attorney quickly and I thought of Paul. I called his office, he explained many things, and I hired him immediately. Even though speaking with him put me at ease I was still stressed from my previous experience with my former attorneys. I was a tenant who believed my apt. had been illegally deregulated and that I had been overcharged for years. I also had serious issues with majorly needed repairs being long-neglected in my apartment to the point it wasn't even fit to live in.

I met with three attorneys before Paul.  I didn't feel they truly got a grasp of my complex case, plus their fees were beyond what I could afford.  I had pretty much given up on finding an attorney.

But, I made one last call--gladly it was to Paul's office. 

He answered his office phone personally. It was a much different experience than the initial calls I'd had with other attorneys.  He was personable and asKed pointed questions; with a genuine interest in my case.

When I went to his office and met him in person about my case, I was sure I had finally found a lawyer that was right for me.

Paul noticed something very important all the other lawyers I'd met with had totally overlooKed. I felt he truly listened to all my concerns.  He was approachable and professional.  He was well-versed in the matters I was dealing with and was straight-forward about the challenges of my case.  Additionally, he gave me a reasonable retainer fee and rate.

As for the repair issues I had struggled for many months to get fixed: they were immediately addressed and fully remedied once Paul got involved.

I never imagined the rent overcharge part of my case would last over 5 years! 
But Paul was dedicated the entire time.  He was easily reachable and returned calls and answered emails very promptly.  He was always thorough and never wavered in giving 100% effort, even as my case dragged on and on.   His persistence went above and beyond.

Paul Kenney

I chose and worked with Mr. Kenney on a long standing debt owed to me by an out of town organization for work that I had done for them. I had tried a number of times to get the matter settled myself, but with no success. I thought that hiring an attorney might send a signal and it did.

I carefully tied to research someone to represent me—experienced, smart, affordable, and willing to work with me—I am in the habit of being involved in the things I want to accomplish.

I explained the circumstances to Mr. Kennedy, met with him for a consultation, and discussed his assessment. His squared with mine—that it was such a long standing situation that a successful outcome was unlikely- but that given that the money was owed for work done, it was worth another try to try to resolve the issue.

I wrote a draft of a letter to the organization on which Mr. Kenney provided some helpful guidance. At one during these several exchanges when I had not received an answer to one of the notes I sent, he advised patience, and was right.

Ultimately, the matter was satisfactorily resolved—an outcome I attribute in part to having retained council—and the good working relationship I had with Mr. Kenney through out.

This review is long over due! Where should I start is the question... I retained Paul’s services in June 2016. my case was 2 1/2 years long! Just recently coming to a Much needed Happy end! It wasn’t easy as Paul and I were dealing with a buildings board and lawyer that were less than ethical, and professional. But in all the 2 1/2 yrs Paul never gave up! And he stayed the course remaining calm, level headed,Professional well informed and diligent. We never ended up going to court(which was good thing) it’s too time consuming & expensive. However the constant back and fourth over a 2 1/2 yr period, is enough to frustrate anybody. None the less Paul always kept me abreast and advised me along the way of my best options even when I at times felt like I wanted to throw the towel in. His humor and approach with the mighty pen helped me stay the course! I could never say enough about Paul! He’s just that amazing of a lawyer and worth taking him on as your legal representative. I wouldn’t be in my Happy place or space mentally if it wasn’t for Paul.

Paul is an angel in an attorney's body. I never met him, but you wouldn't know it, based on how closely we worked over the last few months. I contacted Paul back in December '17 when I had fallen on hard times and was falling behind on my rent. His calm and reassuring tone allowed me to feel some confidence that if I needed an attorney to help me keep my rent stabilized apartment, he was the man who could get it done.

My management company didn't end up taking me to court until April '18. Luckily, I had just started an amazing new job and was back on track financially, though I still carried a hefty rent balance. Paul and I kept in touch via email over those few months-- he was so sweet to check in on me periodically and let me know he was still there for me. We exchanged a ton of emails, and 2 phone calls over 6 months time, and Paul was able to settle my case successfully on his first attempt. This guy is a rock star and a class act! He's the lawyer you're looking for-- especially if you're too busy to visit him in person. I couldn't recommend him enough.
