I dropped off two coats and requested 7 buttons be repaired - 4 tightened and 3 replaced. I received a call from them a few hours later - the woman who did alterations had left and would not be back until Monday and she forgot to sew on one of the buttons. I went to pick up my coats and one jacket (that had 5 buttons that needed to be tended to - 4 tightened and 1 replaced) had not been touched. He had replaced the 2 buttons on the other jacket and claimed they tightened 3 additional buttons on this coat - though I did not request this. He refused to give me my coats unless i paid for all 5 buttons on this jacket and said he "would give me back my other coat" since nothing had been done to it. He threatened to hold my items hostage and said to "take him to court." As a rational person, I paid the $15 and will avoid the court process but I have never in my life felt more ripped off and had such terrible customer service. He yelled at my boyfriend as well who only tried to interject logic into the situation stating as the 3 additional buttons that he claimed they tightened were purely decorative, there was no reason they would have needed to be tightened. I will never go back to this place and would encourage others to avoid the criminal and characterless individual who runs this place. A terrible person with terrible customer service and interpersonal skills.
