BEWARE OF PURCHASING HERE- LA BOUTIQUE SOLD ME FAKE SHOES!!!
Purchased a pair of shoes for several hundred dollars and was told they were "guaranteed authentic." They said "We've been in business for 20 years. We don't sell fakes and STAND BY OUR ITEMS." However, I took them to a retailer after I wore them for the first time--the wear was not right so I had suspicions of the shoes being fake. The retailer confirmed they were fakes. I also asked a reputable shoe repair shop and they also said they are fake. I tried a 3rd shop online and they said they look fake from the pictures, but they could not verify without seeing the shoes in person.

I contacted the store about this to request a refund (about 1 month after the original purchase and as soon as I wore the shoes and verified they were fake) and after many rude emails from La Boutique, was told that I have worn them so I cannot get a refund. They also told me they are real--just based on pictures, without seeing or even requesting to see, the items in person.

What happened to their claim that "We stand by our items and authenticity."? If I showed you their email, your jaw would drop. Completely unprofessional, in my opinion. They did not furnish a copy of the original receipt--which they should be able to do since they know the sellers/ consignors. They simply told me that they got the shoes from a "wealthy" consignor. So I'm supposed to believe this? And even if someone is wealthy, it doesn't mean that they are honest and that they don't try to pawn off fake shoes to La Boutique for retail authentic prices. I have NEVER had such bad customer service and this was the WORST consignment experience I have ever had.
