Dr. Kissel is not your ordinary periodontist! He is one of very few doctors in the U.S. (and I think the only one in NYC) who uses a highly refined microscopic technique that is not only much less invasive, but faster & easier in healing & recovery. The results far exceeded my expectations & I was able to return to work the same day & experienced none of the discomfort that accompanied a prior surgery with another well-regarded NY periodontist. He was very sensitive to my dental phobia & was very reassuring & thorough in the explanation of his treatments. His star qualities are mirrored in his kind & gracious staff. His office manager Martina is super-efficient & charming & his assistant Kimba is delightful & knows her work well. Dr. Kissel is quite obviously one of the most, if not THE most gifted & talented periodontists his profession has seen.
