As compared to other soup joints, this is the best in terms of serving consistently good soups. I especially love their gazpacho. My only dig for this store is its small/cramped area. They have a huge clientele from the area, but the narrow store makes it hard to squeeze in.

Next time you at Bryant Park head across the street next to the Grace building for some wonderful soup. It's a great way to get out of the cold and into a cozy little place that have a huge variety of soups to choose from. I love the Italian sausage and potato. Buy a package of their great soup crackers to go with it it and you have a nice light lunch. They also have sandwiches and salads.
