I know Garren is a well known salon. However they really messed up my hair color. I went to Christopher John to have my blonde highlights done. When they rinsed my hair they asked if I wanted a gloss applied over it. They said it would make it shiny. Of course I said yes. When they applied the gloss it looked reddish/brown but I didn't say anything because they are supposed to be experts at hair color. As you can guess they put a red gloss over my blonde hair. After I left I took pictures of my hair and emailed the salon the pictures of the red tint. They said they couldn't fix it right away because the colorist takes his color home when he leaves. I went back 2 days later and they said they would "try" to get me back to where I was. I was furious. They ended up refunding my money ($525) and I have a small claims case against them in NYC small claims court. I have now spent hundreds of dollars trying to fix my hair. Each time it comes out with an orange/yellow tint to it. I can email pics if anyone wants to see.
