1. Not good quality for the price. 2. GE did not keep scheduled appointment at all.

1. On 05/07/2004 I installed JVM1490BH microwave ($650 +$45 shipping + $180 installation). About one year ago I saw first crack on the microwave Control Panel. Now there are a lot of cracks on plastic of Control Panel (both outside and inside), and on plastic of microwave door. I think this has happened because GE used non microwave-save plastics for this appliance.2. I have scheduled appointment with GE service on 03/14/2006 from 8 am to 12 (GE phone 888-348-7563, my tracking # AT200060305_0000000246). I asked personal day on 03/14/2006 from my job ($395 value). On 03/13/2006 at 6.30 p.m. GE called me asking if I am going to keep the appointment. Yes, I am. On 03/14/2006 at 9.35 am GE called me and canceled the appointment.Now I reschedule appointment with GE on 03/21/2006 from 8 am to 12. I have send letter to GE asking for $395 that I lost on 03/14/2006. If GE not give me this money, I will go to the court. Also, I let you know on this site how GE proceeded with my microwave.
