I had to rewrite this review 3 times to eliminate the profanities that this "spa" provoked. One star is too much.

My girlfriend and I had been looking for a good deal on a couples' massage for a couple weeks, and when we found this place on amazon local we thought we had hit the jackpot. Because we're students, we can't afford a lot and this fit what we were looking for.

We arrived and though it looks sketchy, the facilities are pretty nice. We got great massages despite a couple things. Normally I'd write these things off, but after what followed, HECK NO. I'm going to count it against them HARD.

1) The two women giving us our massages talked the ENTIRE time. SO ANNOYING.

2) My masseuse left the room with no explanation for five minutes and then a different lady came back and didn't make it up the lost time. Ended at the same time as my girlfriend's massage, which was uninterrupted. I know we got a deal for the massages but that was a little ridiculous.

So we finished, got dressed and went out. The amazon local deal says that the only thing not included is gratuity, which we then gave them. The woman we gave the gratuity to said that it was "not very nice" and that it was a very bad tip. We literally had no more cash on us and she very enthusiastically informed us that "we take credit and debit cards" and literally tried to physically shepherd us into the next room to swipe our cards for an amount that she chose. We literally said "we have no money, we're students, we got this on amazon local because we're poor and it's what we could afford. It said nothing about mandatory gratuity on the website and if we had known we wouldn't have done it." EVEN THOUGH GRATUITY IN ITS NATURE IS NOT MANDATORY AND ALSO WE PAID THEM? This woman was a freaking nightmare. She started yelling at us and literally blocked the door so we couldn't leave, and just kept saying "That's not nice" and "You got a very good deal". Eventually she realized we weren't going to give her any more money because at this point, we were really angry. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any kind of business. A kinder explanation and a smile would have probably led to us giving them more money from a debit card, but after that rudeness there was no way in hell it was going to happen.

So we started walking down the stairs to leave, still really angry. SHE CAME RUNNING AFTER US and said "you didn't pay tax! you have to come back and pay tax!" WHAT THE EFF? We went back up with her even though my first instinct was to flip her off and keep going. We asked her to point out on our voucher where it says we have to pay tax, or that tax is not included in the voucher price. SHE COULDN'T DO IT and then she was clearly embarrassed. SO she started SCREAMING at us "GET OUT. GET OUT OF HERE. DON'T COME BACK HERE! DON'T EVER COME BACK!"

Don't waste your time on these biddies. You're better than that.
