I did bring in my Mom's diamond ring which I inherited and have worn for 14 years every day. Stone got lose, and I had to reset it, I still have not gotten my ring back he is trying to give me an inferior ring which is not mine, and to make things even worse, he has tried to give me yet a 2nd bogus ring that is not mine. Since this started I learned that you must take a photo in the store whenever you have a diamond. BE VERY CAREFUL do not go there. While he can be charming (con men are) he is a snake and his niece Rita is worse, they are very bad people with a smile. Do not trust any ratings at Yelp they have a filter system If you go to the bottom of the page on the far left very light gray click on that, you will see all the true reviews, unless you know about it, you will be misguided completely. That is where the true complaints are. I should not even give them one star, They are rip off artists. BEWARE. Internet hids bad reviews, but if you look you will find. even on this site there is one more bad reiview about Ernestos..

Beware!!! Brought in my great grandfathers ring because I needed it re-sized. I am getting married and I was switching hands. All I wanted was a simple resizing and this god-awful place nearly destroyed my ring. They called me back about a week after I had dropped off the ring for resizing. No joke, they handed me back my ring with a stone missing! You would think a Jeweler would pay attention to details...So, Ernesto said he'd fix the stone and not charge me for the resizing...fair enough...another week later I go in, and they replace it with the wrong stone and every other stone on my ring was either cracked or scratched. I guess I am to blame for leaving my ring with them for a third time...fool me once...So i go back to pick up my ring. They did replace the stone, but my ring looked so bad and every stone was cracked. I decided to take my ring elsewhere, to a real, legit jeweler. And I quote Ernesto after I conveyed my disappointment towards my ring..."I've learned in this business that you can't always do a good job." As a photographer, I'd be out of business with that mentality. And to put the cherry on top if this shi* sundae, the day after I picked up my ring, 2 stones fell off of the ring which I ended up losing, so now on top of repair, I need to pay for 2 stones. Please don't go to this dump if you have something as meaningful to you as my great-grandfather ring. Shame on you Ernesto.
