DO NOT GO THERE! Thieves are working at the jewellery store “El Dorado Classic Jewelers”, 700 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10017 (phone: 212-682-03).

There are 2 owners, brother and sister from Israel. The salesperson lady will push to buy anything, she is unbelievably pushy.

They tricked me by putting an old watch model (I am actually not even sure if the watch is actually unused or maybe it is refurbished) in a new box.

The salesperson put the watch in (what I assumed was) the box that the watch originally came in, with an apparent warranty card included. I paid $300 (be aware they will ask you to pay in cash!!!!). When I came home, my husband and I looked up the model and discovered that the watch was a model that was at least 15 years old or more and was considerably less expensive than the price I paid. Then I looked at the box and discovered that the model number printed on the box was completely different from the watch I had purchased. In addition, the watch I thought I was buying was also waterproof, whereas this model is only water resistant. I called the store the next day and told them I was unhappy with the purchase and wished to return the watch. The salesperson refused to discuss this and she was rather rude and told me that is is “final sale.” I think I should be able to return the watch for a full refund because the watch was sold to me at a grossly inflated cost and under false pretences as a new and current model.



I am sure they do it all the time, be careful if you go there.
