This vet is so friendly, you feel like they care about your pet and not about making money. They aren't trying to sell you anything you don't need, and don't try and guilt you into doing things that are unnecessary. The facility is clean and gets the job done.

I always feel like my dog is always taken care of when she is brought in. They are very knowledgeable and patient with us.

Dr. Ficarra has been great whenever I needed to bring DiOGi in. She is very gentle and caring towards the animals. The office is always clean and the other staff is friendly as well.

They take really good care of my dog. They interact with you and make sure that you know all of whats going on the whole time you are there for your visit. They are very nice and professional.

Dr. Ficarro is great with my dog. Whenever She sees him its like she is greeting her own dog. She takes really good care of him especially when he is really not feeling that good.

I bring my dog to work with me sometimes. Sometimes I get swamped at the office and I'll be there for over 12 hours some days so I like to have Scotty with me. He was having stomach issues and I could not get him an appointment to our vet. My mom uses Dr. Ficarra because she makes house calls. I always thought that was ridiculous, but when I needed her to come to my office to look at Scotty, she was there. She was professional and courteous and fixed my boy right up.

Downtown Vet Clinic, is the best animal hospital in New York, hands down. Dr. Ficarro and her staff and so kind and gentle. My dog unfortunately recently passed away. Not only have I lost my best friend, but I am loosing you guys too! Thank so much for all your care through the years.

My family and I have recently relocated to NYC. Dr. Ficarra is not only one of the nicest people I have ever met, but she is great vet. I thought it was unheard of to have a vet pay house calls, but when we needed it, she was there. My mother was the one who recommended you all, because she has been in New York for years. I will certainly be taking her recommendations more often.

You and your pet are not just another patient/client when you go see Dr. Ficarra. She is so caring with your pet that you will not even mind having to bring them in. When my vets office was closed, we called Downtown Vet Clinic and Dr. Ficcarra came to home the next night. She helped us with our dog sally, immensely. Thank you Dr. Ficcara!

I just got a new puppy and I needed to find a vet and I know someone that takes there dog to Downtown Vet Clinic, so I thought it would be perfect. When I went in I was so happy that my puppy got along with the staff. He got a clean bill of health and now I give Downtown Vet Clinic a clean bill of health as well.

I took my kitten into the Downtown Vet Clinic because she kept throwing up and I thought that something bad was really bad. When I went in they were able to take her right away. They were able to give her some kind of medicine and said within the next couple of hours she would be ok. The vet was so friendly and understanding how scared I was for my kitten. Dr. Ficarra saved my dog's life. She is my hero. This place might not be fancy but the medicine practiced here is solid.

I have trusted Dr. Ficarra to care for my cats for over 15 years. I first met her before she had her own clinic, when she was filling in for my previous vet. My friend's cat had stopped eating and had nearly starved herself to death. Dr. Ficarra gave the cat fluids and explained to us how to force-feed her baby food. It was touch and go for awhile, but with Dr. Ficarra's help we were able bring that cat back from the brink of death, and she went on to live a long and healthy life. Dr. Ficarra has been my vet ever since, and I would never take my cats to any other vet.
