If I could give negative stars, I would.

DO NOT SOLICIT THIS CRAKDEN OF A BUSINESS!!!

Wish I'd have seen these ratings before I got RIPPED OFF to the tune of $200!!! Waited almost 2 hours at 87th Sreet, only to be told that they had no more cars and that I would have to go down to 22nd Street for a car. Waited another 45 minutes st 22nd Street until they brought out a car that had CLEARLY been in an accident and was not drivable. Was told by the hideous agent that unless I paid $25 for the upgrade, that badly damaged car was the only one they had for me. I paid and got out of there in an SUV. Returned the car and was charged $25 for less than 2 gallons of gas as a "fuel surcharge," and was told that "2 hours is an average wait on a Sunday" and that I was "lucky" I didn't have to wait longer. This place is a complete nightmare. I may actually call a lawyer. Oh, and PS. none of the Manhattan locations employ managers, so what you are forced to deal with are non-English speaking morons who don't even have their GEDs. Never again. I bet this place goes belly-up before Labor Day.

Booked a car, went to pick up the car and was told no car was availbale.

How come they take reservation then if they can not manage to provide any cars once you come to pick it up.



Called DOLLAR and after a 15 minutes wait over the phone, their representtative told me he couldn't do anything and that I had to call customer service...which of course is closed on the week end.



WORST SERVICE IN THE CAR RENTAL INDUSTRY !

STAY AWAY!



The most useless bunch of incompetents in the car rental industry. Booked a car three weeks in advance. Confirmed it again 3 days before. Arrived for my rental to be told that there were NO cars, never mind the one I booked. They said I could wait 2/3 hours and MAYBE one would come available.No apology, no solution, nothing.



And then to top it all, a bad attitude.



Tried to call, gave up after holding for 15 minutes.



AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
