I am completely dissatisfied with this junk removal service we hired for my company move, especially the head crewman Paul. First off, Paul was not aware that he would be working at the same time we had our moving company there, which I made clear on the phone a couple days before and even asked if that would be a problem. So I can understand that Paul was probably a bit frustrated at first, but he became very unprofessional and uncooperative.



Because of our elevator and timing with the moving company, there was going to be some lag time with CleanoutExpress's use of the elevator. Paul stated that he would have to charge a $519 "standing around" fee. This is outrageous. Had I not called days before and specifically asked whether or not working while our moving company was present would be an issue, I might understand; however, I did inform CleanoutExpress.



Then, with our desks, to fit more into the elevator, they could have been broken down, which was a service I asked the quote rep about. Paul said that there was a $119 dollar disassembly fee per item. The rep who quoted our service never mentioned this to me. The rep who did our quote said that men, work, etc. was included in the "per truck" fee. Instead of dealing with Paul, our moving company's foreman had his men break down the desks for us without a problem. After the CleanoutExpress guy came up to replace Paul (I can't remember his name), 2 of the CleanoutExpress guys then broke down what was left of the desks.



Throughout this experience, myself and my coworker could not even stand for them to stay and finish the job we hired them to do. We hired Cleanout Express to remove all of our unwanted furniture and miscellaneous items. However, myself and my coworker removed more than what we should have (we shouldn't have had to remove anything ourselves), while the crew just sat downstairs on the truck. This service--of very low quality--was not worth the $1141 we paid.
