Bonne Nuit has some of the most beautiful infant and toddler clothes on the Upper East Side. Given its location, the store caters to affluent parents who happily pay $150 - 200 for a toddler's outfit.



Beware, however, as the store fails to stand behind their merchandise. When trying to return or exchange toddler trousers which would not stay snapped, we were informed that since the owner couldn't recover from the manufacturer (for defective merchandise), then we were out of luck.



Having spent well over a thousand dollars in the store, and having referred many friends inquiring about baby gifts for our son, my wife and I were surprised that the store would not replace defective merchandise or offer store credit even though we had provided receipt information. .



Shop here for beautiful and pricey things, just hope you never have a return problem 'cause if the owner doesn't think she can recoup her money from her suppliers; it's now your problem.



Best advice is to shop at Small Change, a shop on the other side of the street, which carries much of the same merchandise and tends to mark them down sooner in the season.
