I was under Dr. Barnett's care for only 8 months before having to relocate out of the city. He is be far the finest psychologist I've worked with (I was aged 49 at the time). It was a collaborative therapeutic process. The work I did with him enabled me to take important steps that kept me "stuck" for years - and take important life risks. He is adult, empathetic without being coddling, a keen observer and listener, direct as needed -- allowed me to come to my own important, and hidden self-realizations. Though I have sought counsel since, I haven't accomplished the same degree of self-revelation and understanding -- as I had while working with him. Working with a therapist is a very personal thing. For me, Dr. Barnett is the most gifted therapist I've worked with -- and I recommend him highly.- JD
