The ASPCA Animal Hospital exists to relieve suffering and provide life-saving care for animals who have been victims of cruelty and neglect, and for cats and dogs whose owners are experiencing financial challenges. AAH requires advance appointments for all cases and no longer accepts walk-ins. Please call (646) 259 4080 to discuss making an appointment. In order to provide care for the city’s most vulnerable animals, the hospital provides urgent care exclusively for animals whose owners’ total annual household income is $75,000 or less. However, meeting this income requirement does not guarantee financial assistance. To qualify for financial assistance, please bring one of the following documents with you: • EBT CARD (Benefits card) • SSI Award Letter • VA Benefits Letter • Proof of Unemployment or Workers’ Compensation • Proof of TANF benefits (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)

I must say, at first I was skeptical about bringing my dog here. However, after a long wait (which was worth it), the doctor seen my dog and gave me a thorough examination and told me what other "vets" couldn't. I am super happy I came here otherwise I would have never known that my dog needed eye surgery. Some Vets just over charge and tell you nothing, but over here I was super happy with everyone and everything. There was 1 particular person not so friendly at the front desk, but there's always 1 every where no matter what. lol

If you love your animal don't ...

If you love your animal don't bring them here. What a bunch of self righteous Douche Bags. Someone needs to explain to these people that they are still in the service industry. Not a good representation of the ASPCA at all!!!

A 5-star veterinary hospital. ...

A 5-star veterinary hospital. The Bergh vets care so much about your animals and you. Their examinations are thorough, and their diagnostic evaluations are excellent. They have wonderful internal medicine vets and the vets, techs, and customer service reps work as a team. If your vet is not available, his/her "partner" vet will be able to help you out. There is good communication between visits, should your animal have an on-going medical problem that requires monitoring. Bergh's operations have become much more efficient in recent years. They provide excellent services for a reasonable fee. They help you know your pet better and provide education so you can ensure your animal's health is as good as it can be.

They obviously care very much about the animals, and everyone there was extremely nice to deal with. I was also impressed by their knowledge and capabilities. Any time I have a choice, I will take my pet there for treatment.
