This Japanese restaurant is excellent - the chef presents the best dishes - sea bass w/ miso sauce, scallops w/ ginger sauce - yumm! The sushi plates & special dishes are always fresh and delightful. You can always ask for any special dish - sauce on side, if you want milder seasoning, and the chefs will always satisfy you. The wait staff are very nice,lovely and efficient. Wine selection is OK - they have the basics + good beers. There's a more trendy sushi place across the street - Aquamarine - but Tony's dishes are much cleaner and the presentation more classic. I live on E 39th and eaten at both - Tony's is best. Enjoy!
