Worth trying.

I went to this store on New Year's Eve. It's clearly the place to go when you need good, inexpensive liquor in Alphabet City. The place was packed, as it usually tends to be at night. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The selection is varied, and the staff even gives you tips on mixing drinks, if you have any questions. Overall, it's a charming store, with an old-school feel to it. Definitely worth taking a trip to if you're close by. Make sure to stop by the deli next door--owned by the same family!

I asked the young man, in a kind and inquisitive manner, if he happened to have any kegs and he said to me, in the snootiest of tones, "Liquor stores don't sellllllll beeeer..." As if any moron in the United States knew that this was the golden rule for alcohol consumption stations. Either way, the guy was a jerk and on that alone I give you my bad review.
