I've worked for Tom and he rarely gets out of bed and when he does its to go behind his wife's back at the end of the day and go to the strip club. He makes his crew go out daily without him, they do not communicate with each other at all so a lot of the time things have to be re done, they drink on and off the job basically 24/7. They do very poor work and the supervisor Brandon is okay with the job as long as you can't see the pipes-- which mean edgers will break them and lots of replacing. All around horrible experience and bad company. They do not care about you, just the money and when the job will be done. I would neither work for them or hire them. They also refused to pay for 30$ of my pay because I was sick one day after trenching a huge trench due to toms crew breaking his ditch witch so they could take a day off. Expect a long horribly done job because that what you'll get.1Chris Martorella2 months agoThis is by far the most unscrupulous, deceitful business person on the face of the Earth. I worked for Tom and Progressive for 4 months. After Hurricane Mathew he didn't pay me for 4 weeks and begged me to keep working even though I couldn't pay my bills. He owes me $1800 and refuses to pay or even answer the phone. He blames customers and contractors for his money problems. He has many health issues and with deny them along with his drug problem. Theres been weeks where he doesn't leave the house. He owes everyone money including former and current employees and two supply houses. He will bid whatever it takes to get your business. Then will use inferior parts with inexperienced labor and cut corners to get the job "done". You will never see him on a job for longer than an hour. He won't answer the phone, you might get a call back the next day. He can't keep appointments. He wasted my time, blood, and sweat. You don't need this headache. He doesn't pay his workers or his taxes. He doesn't have money for materials and will ask for a deposit then you won't see him for weeks. It was embarrassment working for him and I got completely burned. He doesn't need to be running a business or holding a contracting license. I know I won't see my wages, but please don't give him your business.Helpful?

This "company" was a headache from the beginning. They were supposed to give us a free quote and ended up charging us for a service done completely wrong. I called them the same day and they said they would take care of it. After 6 missed appointments and not having the professionalism is calling me saying they won't make it I gave up and brought in a different company that got the job done! I got proof of what I'm saying from calls, messages, and there voicemails. Do not waste your time here they will come out the first day not get the job done but still charge you and won't show there heads after that!!!
