the oldest and most well known bar in the area. they have bands every Friday and Saturday. GOOD drink specials too.

I drove up from Clearwater to hear a friend's band and was the DD for my party. I ordered several Cokes and then switched to water. When I asked for my bill I discovered that I was charged $2/Coke (which come in 6 oz. cups). My waitress agreed that it was a rip-off and that she was also being given a hard time by her manager for bringing me so much water. (4 cups over 5 hours). When I asked to speak to the manager the waitress came back and informed me that he/she (??) said that's just the way it is. They couldn't even be bothered to come speak with me. Needless to say I will not go back to this blight of a bar in New Port Richey and I will be sharing this experience with anyone I can. I can't believe a bar wouldn't do more to promote responsible drinking.
