This was the worst hospital I've ever been to I had a broken shoulder and they sent me home with a cheapest sling I have eternal seen and they treat me at all when I went to a very good hospital they said I should have never been sent home because I been a shoulder replacements my humeral head is broken and they didn't do anything and they knew this I should been kept for a shoulder replacement for the next day so if you want decent human treatment go anywhere else but here. Because of there actions I haven't yet got a shoulder replacement and I can't lift my arm up or even reach for anything unless it's something light on the floor. I reach out to the side my arm is totally useless . I can't brush my hair with it and it my right shoulder and I'm right handed I can't even write at first until lately I can sign my name just from normal body Healy I can write small notes with a lot of pain. So now at the I'm at the mercy of my health plan of finding a doctor to replace my shoulder that is has to consider fixing a not new break which is more complicated than if they had done there job and they didn't even give me pain medication and I was taken in a ambulance.

My Daughter was to have a procedure done there today and did not have the 1,900 co pay we asked for financial assistance assistance and after all day on the phone trying to get help at 4pm a woman called me back to say the CEO of the Hospital denied any care. My Daughter was finding out if she had lymphoma and they didnt care. There all about money not helping people i hope they can live with themselves unless your rich dont bother coming here.

Can you say CLASSISM!!! I am a 35 year old Block Mason. So I go to Trinity ER, I was asked by and explained the situation to 4 different nurses, one said "You should have gone back to bayonet point, but we will TRY to get you in!" (I should have known then that they didn't want to help me) We watched an entire waiting room empty, and new people come in and be helped, I never made it past the waiting room! After almost 3HRS I had to leave, I cant SIT or STAND that is all you CAN do in a waiting room! I was told by another nurse that they were real busy and they were trying to figure out WHAT to DO WITH ME?! Unless you are old, a child, or you LOOK like you have MONEY, don't expect to be helped at this hospital!!

This place doesn't deserve even a one rating. Nursing staff is second rate The building may be new but it is still the same staff from the old hospital. They finially moved my relative to PCU after leaving his O2 off for more then 6 hrs. His doctor was a bit upset when he learned of it, he got him transferred. I came in for a visit and waited 3 hrs thinking he was asleep. NO ONE came in to check on him. Using my own tools I found his ox saturation below 80. Searched the line back to find the valve closed tight. I opened it and set it. Notified the nurse who didnt see at the least upset. He was on ox before coming here. Now he is in a critical care hospital. His mental abilities went from a man answering Jeopardy questions before the contestants to a person who can barely put a sentence or thought together. The list of problems I could give here would probably take up a full page. He was so dehydrated when he left, it took the second hospital 3 days to get him close to a balance. This place should be avoided at all costs. Since our bad experience I have heard MANY similar experiences and some people almost dying because they didnt get any or not the right type of medical treatment. Dont go there. There are better hospitals in the area. Dont need to believe me, talk to your neighbors.

Recently was in Trinity after a bad reaction to chemotherapy. From the minute I went into ER someone stayed with me reassuring me until I went to my room. The nurses were so kind and caring. All staff who came to my room were very kind. I waited two days before telling them I was a nurse. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Won't bore you all with a long drawn out speech. My wife was recently a patient there and the nursing staff was excellent but my issues were with her "holier than thou" cardiologist who was condescending, disrespectful, arrogant, and dismissive. He seemed irritated by her even having questions. Apparently he has forgotten their patients are often apprehensive and deserve to feel their well being matters. They need to speak to their doctors - not their doctors assistants. She was released late at night with no consultation from her doctor or even their assistants, no one went over her test results or anything. It was just basically a "get out, we need the bed space" attitude and so her concerns went unaddressed.

I sent a letter to the hospitals CEO, the chief of staff, director of nursing and chairman of the board of directors about my the way my wife treated. NOT one of them bothered to respond to my letter. One of the assistants to the CEO called me and said she would check into it and understood why my wife and I were upset. She said she would make sure it was addressed and let me know the outcome but apparently that was just lip service. Two months went by never heard a thing. I called today and spoke to "another" assistant to the CEO and it was more of the same . . . give me her information and I will check into it. Wanted to know how I sent the letter as if to insinuate they never received it. What a crock of BS

I would NEVER go back there again. Everyone is just a number. The doctors and management are cold and uncaring and apparently feel superior to us mere mortals. I feel like I need to shower after dealing with them.

WARNING!!!

You will be paying out of network charges forever! I've been billed over $11,000 in out of network charges.

Medical Center of Trinity makes NO effort to send tests to facilities that are in your insurance network and they use operating room personnel that are also out of network.

I had a simple biopsy in July, 2014 and I'm still getting bills from lab facilities for thousands of dollars that Humana, my insurance, won't cover because these places are out of network. I'm writing this in June 2015, 11 months later!

A patient has no control about who a surgery center uses for operating room personnel nor the labs that they send your tests to!

But the patient is responsible for all of the charges period. If they had sent these to Humana network facilities they would have all been paid in full like everything else. Instead they stuck me with these charges.

Don't go near the medical center of Trinity if you are want your insurance to cover your treatment and tests.

I was treated very nice, everyone treated me with respect and the nurses cared about their patients, I loved the private room. I was treated for Vertigo and dry heaves. They got my medications to me right away when I got to the room. I will always go back there. This hospital is so much better than Bayonet in Hudson.

I have been sick for weeks. I went to the Medical Center of Trinity on NUMEROUS occasions and was only taken halfway seriously once. They tried to kick me out on a few occasions, even though I had severe symptoms. I showed the doctor (or tried to show the doctor) some bumps on my skin and he had the nerve to reply "well I don't know if that's how your skin normally looks". I think I'd know.... I also asked about low blood sugar as everything I've read matched my symptoms. The nurse at the time completely turned into a know-it-all and basically told me everything I've ever read and anyone I talked to with low blood sugar was wrong and he was 100% right (no tests, even though my symptoms matched). I have had severe throat swelling and asked for a chest x-ray. Nope. Wouldn't do it. They did a FLU SWAB! I've been sick for 3.5 weeks, haven't had a fever, fatigue, etc. at all, yet they do a flu swab (and don't give me results). Some of the nurses and doctors were nice, but the majority were rude, unhelpful, and uncaring. If you wanna make 100K and don't want to help people get better, go into sales. No need for 8+ years of school and more in residency. I will NEVER go back. It is convenient to my house, but I'll drive 20 minutes to the next closest hospital to avoid this place!!

They are still in the continuous improvement mode regarding nursing. The RNs need more Certified Nursing Aides to help with basic patient needs. They seem overworked and stressed while trying to maintain a care standard. The patient/staff rapport was better in Community Hosptial before the move. My suggestion: more emphasis on communication and less concern with architecture and making a community impression with the looks of the building.

I visited the ER at Trinity Medical during a Tropical Storm. I hit my head, stopped the bleeding, but I was concerned I needed stitches. The nurse said I did not need stitches and advised I could go get a band-aid at Walgreens. However, he strongly suggested a Tetanus shot so I stayed. He smeared my cut with glue and gave me the shot. I was in the ER for roughly 30 minutes with no critical need of service; yet I was charged $2,280.21 from the ER and $1,397.00 from a doctor I never saw. If your wound is minor, you may want to go an Urgent Care facility first before incurring mega charges from Trinity. I wish I did.

they are the absolute best! My insurance was still pending, but they treated me with respect, concern and compassion. They ran tests, blood work, an ultrasound, prescribed medicine for the severe nausea and vomiting. They called and got my insurance through faster. They helped me find a private doctor and he is fantastic. They offered me tours of the facility, birthing classes, infant CPR classes and many other classes too--all for free I should add. The employees were all very thoughtful, thorough and caring, not only with me, but also my grandma and aunt. I should also mention that they were really bust when I was there, but they still treated me like my problem was a priority. I love this hospital. I am having my baby there, even though I have a hospital 5 minutes away from where I live. I am so glad I learned about this hospital!

This hospital did NOT leave me...

This hospital did NOT leave me lay in pain. They focused on the medical problem I was having which was chest pain as they were efficient and caring!! I will not go to any other hospital if I have a medical emergency. Trinity Hospital is the best! It is very clean and the people were caring, considerate and thoughtful of how I was feeling. I will only go to Trinity for care!!!
