I was in NOLA visiting a friend and got strep throat. The staff was super friendly and got me the meds I needed. I was in and out pretty fast which surprised me considering I had never even been there before and I'm from out of town. Definitely a relief since I was feeling so crappy

I had to wait three hours to see a physician's assistant! The waiting area had one lonely magazine and a water cooler with no cups. The reception and nursing staff I spoke to were all very brusque and didn't warn me about the wait, or explain or apologize for the extraordinary delay.

Then the doctor('s assistant) who finally saw me for my biceps injury told me that not being able to reach my face with my hand was "normal range of motion", and didn't need any imaging despite the severe pain I was in.

I left with nothing but instructions to take aleve regularly. A total waste of time and money. I would have been healthier if I stayed home and avoided the entire stressful visit.
