My husband and I were visiting New Orleans and we wanted to get a tattoo together we ask some of the locals and wever were recommend Tat Starz. I have a large sunflower and tulip tattoo on my arm that represent my husband and I. So my husband wanted the same is that tattooed on his leg. The guys traced my arm and got started on my hubby leg and came out WONDERFUL we both couldn't be happier. I wanted a pinup girl riding a bar key. Nikki came up with her and did my arm. She turned out Perfect!!! The service was amazing and when we visit again we will be back!! Thanks guys..

Friendly staff...great atmosphere! Loved this place. When I'm in NOLA again I will definitely go here! Nikki was the absolute best! Didn't even hurt when she pierced my nose.

All my tattoos came from this shop its a very friendly environment and phenomenal work if you're ever thinking about getting a tattoo i strongly recommend coming to tat starz

This tattoo parlor was a breath of fresh air! The girl who greeted me, Nicki was super nice and knowledgable. My husband and I ended up getting tattooed by her and her husband Jason. Both of the artists has their liscences and portfolios on display. This shop was extremley clean and decorated very warmly. They showed us when opening new needles and equipment and let us choose what music we wanted to listen to. The prices were reasonable, and we got great tattoos. An all around great experiance and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great tattoo!

My girlfriends ended up coming here after a bad experiance at the shop around the corner. These people are SO nice! We came in late and wanted 2 cover up tattoos. Jason and Niki did our tattoos and they came out amazing. We cant see the old name tattoos at all! The prices were good and the place was clean and comfortable! They were really good about letting us know what would cover our old tattoos and what wouldnt. We will be definately coming back here and I will be recommending Tat Starz to everyone! Also the bathroom was incredibly clean!

I went in the shop just to look at the artwork..i was greeted by some very friendly artist and the owner..i talked to pat and he showed me a tat that i loved..the price was very reasonable and the tattoo came out so beautiful..this was my very first tattoo and i was a lil scared and nervous about it til pat walked me through all the steps..and told me where i would feel the needle more..going back for my 2nd one tomorrow..love yall

What an amazing experience!!! I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo and these guys were highly recommended....and they lived up to their local reputation and more! Dee did an amazing job with the art and concept I brought to him and an even better job inking it on me...I was thrilled with the end result and will make sure ALL my friends and Soldiers know when they are in New Orleans they need to get their tattoos and piercings here...Thanks guys!!!

I received my very first tattoo Monday evening. Chopper was the tatt artist and I would like to say how wonderful he made my first experience. Chopper worked fast but not rushed. His artistic skills is definitely top notch. Very professional, prices extremely reasonably. Not knowing what to expect going into this, I can say if I am to get another tattoo, I wouldn't think twice about going to Tat Starz. Chopper is the MAN! During the process, Chopper thoroughly explained each step of the way, how the needle and ink pierces through the layers of skin and follow up with care instructions. I expected PAIN, but it was kool and I must say I can see where it can become addictive. Also, it place is clean and you get to see him set-up with his packaged sterilized tools. I highly highly highly recommend Tat Starz, especially for first timers, like me:))))))

I was so impressed by how friendly, clean, & talented they were at tat starz! I had been wanting to get a tattoo for a long time & then we decided to while on vaca (I don't live in NOLA). I was a little nervous about finding a random tattoo shop online & just going, but after reading a couple recent great reviews, we decided to go check it out! Chopper was so awesome & really talked to me about what I wanted. They have spoiled me, so if I get another tat, I will have to plan a trip back to NOLA!

This is my favorite shop in the city. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's clean. The artists are world class. I came in with just an idea of what i wanted and the artist just whipped out a piece of paper and BAM there it was!

And seriously... they've probably got the cleanest bathroom ever :)

First of all there's service from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you walk out. And as far as the cleanliness department goes,i mean can you say Sterile? These guys get an A for talent for sure. They have some really great artist there. One artist(Israel) is currently working on something for me now.It's not finished yet but it's a masterpiece in progress. But he is one of many artist who are in deed all of awesome! I'm so excited for the completion of my tattoo& can't wait to get more piercings as well. I will recommend this place to all my friends including anyone looking for a great place to get an awesome piece of artwork :)...
