Excellent salon! Thank you Kelly and Dallas! I felt like a celebrity! The environment is relaxing and spa like. Service was awesome from my initial phone call (to ask if they were comfortable with natural African American hair) to the complimentary beverages and final style. These guys are great. I called and made an appt. because I wanted to switch from my natural state to something sleek for my look that evening. Did I mention I probably have the hair of 2 1/2 persons? They went to work and took the time to blow out and flat iron my hair to soft and shiny perfection! Felt like I was at my home stylist...great conversation and great people. Even my patiently waiting hubby felt at home, he was also thoroughly impressed! Thanks Dallas and Kelly. You are a master at what you do!

the owner and staff are very nice. Dallas and most people there anyway. its more about my stylist treatment than anything else. she has never really been all that nice but the way i was treated over the phone last time i made an appointment, did it for me. called back right back moments later to cancel the appointment i just made.After being made to feel like an unwanted a-s-s. i did not want to prove her right and pay for it to. guess you don't care if you lose a customer Dallas? but, i bet you do.

This salon is the best in New Orleans. Attentive to detail, incredible experience. Dallas is a master of hair and it shows every time.

Did not live up to expectations. Don't bother with the website, it is outdated.



Visited Beau Monde a month ago seeking a stylist to help fix a bad haircut. Stylist did an adequate job but, to my horror, re-cut the assymetrical style lines into my hair I'd just spent the year growing out! Stylist also straightened my hair with a dryer, which I requested she NOT do during consultation because I wanted to see how the cut look au naturel. Stylist claimed it was "necessary" to straighten it to "show me the sides were evenly cut." Once I washed my naturally curly hair, I was left with a shaggy uneven cut with long thick bangs covering one side of my face.



Returned for a touch up. Stylist took five minutes to snip some odd layers into the back of one side of my head, leaving the shaggy uneven front.



Afternoon prior to Halloween had appointment for another trim/touch-up. Stylist and Proprieter met me at the door and refused to cut my hair or to refer me to another stylist. Proprieter was verbally abusive and accused me of unrealistic expectations. I wanted the bangs and fringe of my hair trimmed back so it would not hang in my eyes.



Do not patronize unless you are prepared to "like" whatever stylist does even if style is not what you want. Client satisfaction is not a primary goal of this establishment and the staff is not above leaving you high and dry without a stylist the night before a party or holiday if they feel less than completely appreciated. I am not a rude person and thought I had excellent rapport with the stylist prior to the pre-Halloween confrontation. Nor do I understand why she could not decline my patronage prior to my leaving work in the middle of the day to visit the salon.
