I accompanied two friends to this restaurant. Due to the volume of customers, we sat at the bar. The food was delicious, it just took a long time for our food to arrive. The food was quite tasty. The drinks were fabulous, too.

I went to this restaurant with 2 other companions on a week night and all the computers went down except one. We sat there for 20 mins at the bar and no one even gave us water. We finally got service at the other side of the bar (we moved bc none of the wait staff wanted to help us).

My friend ordered a mint julep and they didn't even muddle the mint in the liquor so he couldn't taste the mint.

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, shrimp and grits and the fried shrimp platter and it was all bland. Please don't waste your money on the food here, it is just not worth it.

Service: Very good, they work to take care of you. Gator poboys: tasty and reasonably priced. Muffalettas: 1/2 the meat/fillings for twice the price of Johnny's Poboy's on St. Louis. More like a "Muffa-LESSA" than a "Muffa-LOTTA". Oysters Royale: oysters fresh shucked but overcooked and shrunk, buried & overwhelmed by tasty but oily and breadfilled stuffing. House "New Orleans Pale Ale" light and refreshing. Like many French Quarter bars, MAKE SURE TO request "pint", "half-pint" with draft beers if you don't wish to contend with the $7.00+ mega beer glasses. They don't ask...Surrounding visitors from out of town enjoyed the raw oysters. Tried the place as the result of a Restaurant.com certificate. Wouldn't go back except for the gator poboys.
