Dr. Re is a board certified endocrinologist who, like all Section physicians, treats patients suffering with hypertension of unknown cause, or essential hypertension. His area of special interest is the renin/angiotensin system, its role in hypertension, and its consequences. Dr. Re also serves as Ochsner's Vice President and Director of Research.
