My mother was in the hospital 17 days. During her stay she had some wonderful and some not so wonderful nurses. The techs were friendly and sociable with my mother which I really appreciated. The social work seemed okay but not very informative. My mother was then set to rehab on Jefferson Hwy. she was suppose to be transferred by a wheelchair van instead she was transferred in a old police car that transport now used to transport psych patients in with the wire wall between the driver and the patient. I would have done better calling her a cab or Uber. The social worker called my mothers phone which I’m glad I had and I told her how pissed I was for the treatment of my 87 year old mother and was told she would send it up the ladder. I received another call again not to me but to my mother to say my mother had arrived to the facility safely. I know she did because I followed them. My suv was too high for her to get because I could have transported her myself. The entire experience was stained because of her transport. Got to the rehab facility and the room is plain. If I wanted to stay with her there was no place for me to sleep and you can’t bring a air mattress. The chairs are hard. To say it was a new building somehow I expected more. I know Ochsner could care less they will be paid regardless of the treatment. That’s the wheelchair they brought her down in and the back of the car without the picture of my mother in it.

My name is Kristian G Miller I work at Ochsner Baptist in 2018 in dietary and love it until i had a foot injury at home and had to resign but I'm very much healed now and I look for the opportunity too work there again I world gladly work there again .
