Go for their Pasta! I got check parm, it had great flavor and the staff said it was the owners special recipe! It surely does not hurt that they also have a full bar in arms length too :) We had good service and a good staff taking care of us thank you LF

Frank's Restaurant has an amazing dish called CRAWFISH GAGLIANO with Pasta! a MUST Taste Dish when visiting the french quarter in New Orleans. Our service was good and the atmosphere was very nice too, sitting upstairs offers a another change of pace, with a sweet view of the french quarter. Last time i visited we had a muffalatta, and that was excellent as well Mac~

Frank's Restaurant in the french quarter rocks, sitting upstairs is the perfect place to take a date, and has the best large fried shrimp seafood found in the NOLA french quarter. we love the the crispy jumbo shrimp and bowl of gumbo. My friend got a meatball dinner and I had a bite, 'very yummy' with a zesty appeal! we recommend Frank's Restaurant on Decatur to friends who want a good seafood platter :) JC

awful

should have walked out!! place is dirty, employees sit around the dining area gossiping because there are no customers, and you have music playing over a loud tv in the corner. all should have told us to leave but I was dumb enough to stay. next came the food...no taste and came out so fast that I'm certain it was already made. terrible experience don't make the same mistake!!! center

Beware!

Where do I begin? Judging from the outdated reviews I read beware of this place. We walked in and were greeted by a group of men sitting at a table who told us just to go upstairs. We proceeded upstairs to find a filthy room with paper wrapped tables, dirty floor, mayonaise jar sitting out on the bar area and flies. At this point I was hesitant but husband said lets give it a go as we were going by reviews which were not bad at all. A waiter came upstairs and introduced himself and asked what we would like to drink. He was friendly however his tshirt was filthy and he looked hot and sweaty. As I was waiting on drinks my husband went downstairs to use the bathroom to witness what looked like a homeless man come in. He heard a man at a table (owner) tell him that they saw him passed out in the street and asked him if he was okay to work! We ordered a stuffed artichoke and decided to try that before ordering more food. It was not bad however the presentation was not good. While waiting they finally decided to play some music however the waiter decided to turn on his portable radio so we were listening to Celine Dion singing over Pink Floyd. I ordered chicken Parmesan which tasted like chef boardee in can over angel hair pasta. My husband ordered seafood gumbo as he felt that could not be too bad, wrong! Their prices are ridiculously high and the food was not good at all. The ambience was filthy and poorly kept. I would not recommend this even to my enemies.
