This was a really nice hotel on St. Charles for the price. Very reasonable and the service was great.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice and they were very accommodating of our dog! The hotel even had treats for her. Close proximity to nice restaurants.

There are great deals to be had at this nice hotel, which is undergoing renovations as of March 2012. The rooms and bathrooms are actually bigger than those in the fancier Hyatt Regency New Orleans, and the free wifi was MUCH better and less complicated to access than the sort-of-free-in-very-restricted-areas wifi at the Hyatt. The folks at the front desk were invariably kind and helpful, although I didn't have any real problems to deal with. The entire hotel is non-smoking, but one of the rooms I was in had a very faint odor, like some old men had been smoking cigars and arguing about monetary policy in there 50 years ago. I'm quite sensitive to smoke residue, but the odor didn't bother me at all once my nose adjusted to it. I'd gladly stay here again if I return to the Big Easy.
