But when there baffled by you're pets illness and feed them antibiotics and charge you outrageous fees then you're pet dies eight days later and the dr doesn't even have the balls to come out when you show up with you're dead pet he sends out the other dr to do the dirty work and she says" yes she's deceased" ahhh yes we know that as we stand there crying in our heartbreak and still dr maizel cant seem to come into the room of his patient and not even a phone call ! Nothing! I know he is in the office as his car was in the parking lot! My heart was broken again for the lack of care they exude on there site the staff is fine unfortunately they are under the control of him I stood outside there door at 8 :35 am as my dog died a 6am I had to wait until they opened at 9:00am they saw me in my distress outside but waited to open the door to say" oh my is something wrong?" No I'm just standing here because I have nothing to do my dog was dead in the car my heart was broken my daughter was devastated and Dr maizel never came in the room! My heart is broken for my dog that I brought there

Staff was extremely rude. I took my cat for an arranged shot. They ran out. I found out after I arrived. I needed to return the next week where I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours. when I complained they said I should show up for the appointments I made.

Also My dog was limping. I brought him in three time and was told he pulled a muscle. The last time they decided he had developed arthist and said I should have brought him in earlier

I called today per a recommendation from a person I see at the dog park in New Milford on a regular basis. Upon asking for an appointment for my pet I was treated so DISGUSTINGLY by an employee named MARY! I feel very bad that I will not be going to this animal hospital since I hear the doctors are wonderful however the staff is APPALLING and should not work in a setting where people are upset about their loved ones. Not recommended for anyone who loves their pets as family!

The vets and the staff at Candlewood Animal Hospital are the best. They are so loving and caring. I have been taking my pug there for four years, and I wouldn't think of bringing him anywhere else. He has had all his well pet visits, nail clips, and even cancer surgery done here. They are professional and extremely knowledgeable. All his care has been personal and kind. I highly recommend Candlewood Animal Hospital, and my pug gives it a big "paws up!"
