I had a tattoo done today by Rick , it was everything and more ! the time detail , making sure i was happy ! i cant wait to go back and have more pieces done . Thank you Rick

Don't go to Body Graffiti! The owner is rude and angry, will do a second rate job and will overcharge you.

I would not recommend this place. I got something small done there on my wrist about 2 years ago, not only did it not get done by the owner, but, by who I assume, was an apprentice and I should have said no then. It was a small tattoo and I normally know they don't run cheap but I paid $180 for something that took less than an hour to do and was only black ink and no shading. Rick questioned the way I wanted my tattoo since I wanted it facing me and said it would look stupid. Both owners were pretty rude. My husband was with me at the time and he wasn't feeling well and had some bad allergies going on and hadn't slept in over 24 hours - the owner comes in when the tattoo is done and tells me never to bring someone who is high into his shop again, because he knows what high people look like; which was further from the truth.



Now the icing on the cake, I have plenty of tattoos and know how to care for them. This one healed weird and when it did heal, it wasn't even fully lined and I had to have another artist (who is now my main artist) re-do it. My artist now is booked for usually 3 months for appointments. This place takes walk-ins and when I went, didn't even look busy, that should be a warning right there. Be careful who does your tattoos.

I had a great experience at Body Graffiti. Rick was extremely patient, accommodating and professional. This was my second tattoo and I was a little nervous but I was put at ease. I absolutely love my tattoo! Thank you! I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for more work. Highly recommended!

Do not go here! I got a tattoo done here and it got infected twice. He also went to deep, and I believe that is why it hurt so much and got infected. This is not normal. Also, they are very rude there. I would research where you want to go fully before going here. In fact you would probably be better off going anywhere else.

I also had a wrist tattoo done here in 2009. I actually thought someone wrote my story when I began reading the review under me!!

He went way too deep. It looks like a giant bruise. Very sad, because everyone sees your wrists!!

I went back about a month later and he told me it would 'disipate'. It's been two years...

I have had a couple consults about getting it 'fixed' but the only real solution is a coverup. I am not ready for that.

Definitely reconsider this shop.

I would like to respond to the comment that was just made by leetee on 6-4-11.

I would wager to say that this posting was done out of vindictiveness from one of the local newbie shops.

I have been getting tattooed at Body Graffiti for 4 years now as well as family members and have never seen and or read anything regarding the work that this shop does as you so called wrote.

Some things are better left unsaid, if you can't say something nice don't bother.

Karma what comes around will go around.

Perhaps post your real name instead of hiding behind a email.

I got my tattoos a couple years ago and they came out awful!!!! My tattoos are on my wrists, he went to deep and now i have scars over one of the tattoos. He told me to come back in a week so he could touch it up but the scabbing was so bad i didnt want him touching it again. The lines arent clean and the fading goes outside the tattoo where it shouldnt be. One of these days I will get these tattoos removed! Id get a coverup but because theyre on my wrists I dont want anything bigger. I wish i knew how to post a picture on here for everyone to see.

A friend referred me. The place is very clean. I had work that needed to be fix and it came out awsome! Excellent work. Rick really cares about your condition the whole time.

Amazing tattoo artist with one hell of a heart for his work. I have several pieces done from Rick and everytime they're seen I get nothing but compliments. Can't wait for my sleeve to get finished. sincerely GAME OVER!!

I heard about this tattoo shop through a family member and decided to go check it out. I was looking to get a memorial tattoo for a friend of mine who had passed away a few years ago. He took the idea i gave him and ran with it and it turned out so freaking awesome i was amazed! His ideas ended up being much more than i could of ever hoped for and will definitely be going back ASAP! Thanks for the killer tat!

Anyone out there looking to get a tattoo should check out this place. I got my first tattoo in October, wings with my kids names incorporated on my back and what a great first experience. They took the time to help me design the tattoo, and explained everything in detail from start to finish. The studio is immaculate, sterile, friendly and reasonably priced. You couldn't ask for a better situation.



My husband and I visited several tattoo studio's in the local area and by far this was the one that made the biggest impression.



Always go with your gut instinct and ask questions and be sure to check with your local health department, as many of them have several violations that you would not be aware of, if you never investigated.There is no so called licensing in Ct to my suprise very little regulating on the states part as well, so do your homework.Any one person can set up shop and start working as a tattoo artist and you would never know.
