New Market Middle School, founded in 1979, is a division of the Fredrick County Public Schools. It provides enrollment to more than 850 students in grades six through eight. It offers services through various departments, such as administration, security and transportation. The school offers classes in English, math, music, science, foreign languages, social studies, computer, and health and physical education. It provides membership to various activity clubs, such as art, band, chess and drama club. The middle school s extracurricular activities include various sports, such as soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. The school also has a library, a cafeteria and a media center for students. New Market Middle School is based in New Market, Md.
