Lincolnway Special Recreation Association is a program of adaptive recreation for individuals with disabilities. Located in Frankfort, Ill., its programs are for individuals who have recreation needs ranging from preschool to adults. Special populations served are learning disabled, physically/visually impaired, multiple disabilities or those with other special needs. The programs are developed to facilitate the participant in developing a balance of leisure/socialization skills, recreation resources and other opportunities. These include swim lessons, video gamers club and gymnastics, to name a few.
